DWR Custom Woodworking uses a wide variety of wood species , stains and
paints to meet the requirements of any decor, Colonial, Early American,
Traditional, Country or Modern.
All handcrafted wood pieces are solid, cabinet grade hardwoods or pine
selects. No veneer or plywood is ever used! The Knobs used in the
Quilt Display's are of the same species as the Quilt Display itself except for
pine where Maple is used.
All Quilt Displays, Hangers, Stands and Ladders are sprayed with a moisture
resistant urethane based varnish to seal the wood and stain. The finish
is extremely abrasive resistant, moisture resistant and a excellent wood seal.
