 Quilters have been requesting a wider shelf on the Quilt Display to display baskets, dolls or other collectables keyed to the quilt on the display. DWR Custom Woodworking now offers a 5” shelf with end brackets for support. The shelf still has a plate groove 1 ¾” from the back. The shelf edge is a more traditional ½” radius as pictured in the photo to the left. The Quilt Display functions the same as the other Quilt Displays. Tightening the knobs provides the clamping pressure between the clamping bar and mounting board. The shelf adds approximately 3 ½” of width to the Quilt Display (a 36” Quilt Display would measure 39 ½” with the shelf).
